Occupational Safety and Health
- Committed to create a safe work environment and practices that ensure all employees are free from injury and illness
- Prioritise occupational safety and health in all operations and endeavour to take reasonable and practicable steps to prevent and eliminate the risk of injuries and health hazards
- Ensure that the commitment to the safety and health of management and staff is maintained to facilitate conformance with the policy
- Provide all employees with a safe and healthy working environment in accordance with appropriate occupational, safety and health, and other legal requirements
- Ensure that contingency plans are in place to deal with emergencies, and periodically review the Occupational, Safety, and Health Management System to ensure continual improvement
- Provide consultation and promote staff participation by ensuring all staff receive relevant information, directives, training, and supervision on how to carry out tasks in a correct and quality manner that poses no risk to health
- Ensure all employees, contractors, and visitors strictly adhere to this policy at all times
Environmental Management

Anti-Corruption Policy
- Committed to create a corruption-free business environment with values of transparency, good corporate governance and employees with high integrity
- Comply with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) Act 2009 (Act 694) and other laws as well as guidelines relating to the fight against corruption
- Continually monitor and improve the performance of the Anti-Bribery Management System through the implementation of ISO 37001:2016
- Ensure the anti-corruption principles are communicated and upheld in business dealings by all personnel within the company, stakeholders and business associates
- Encourages raising concerns in good faith using the established channels without risk of retaliation with the assurances of the existence of internal rules and regulations
- Establish an independent function responsible for anti-corruption compliance in the company
- Employees who do not comply with this Policy shall be subjected to appropriate action in accordance with AP policies, procedures, directives and guidelines as well as applicable laws
No Gift Policy
- All employees and directors, family members or agents acting for or on behalf of the company employees, directors or their family members are prohibited from, directly or indirectly receiving or providing gifts, gratuities or favours
- The company requires employees and directors to abide by this policy to avoid conflict of interest or the appearance of conflict of interest for either party in ongoing or potential business dealings between the company and external parties as a gift can be seen as a bribe that may tarnish the company reputation or be in violation of anti-bribery and corruption laws
- Any person purported to do anything or action against this policy shall be deemed acting contrary to the company’s policy and without the company’s consent and authority and shall be assuming full personal responsibility
Whistleblowing Policy
- Committed to the highest standard of integrity and accountability in the conduct of its businesses and operations ethically and transparently
- Encourage and enable persons to report in good faith or on the basis of a reasonable belief that attempted, suspected and actual bribery or any violation in relation to corruption
- Protects the whistle-blower who lodged a report provided the report is made in good faith or on the basis of a reasonable belief against retaliation or adverse employment actions (i.e.: discharge, demotion, suspension, harassment or other forms of discrimination) even the report made proved to be incorrect or unsubstantiated
- Assure all reports and identities of the whistle-blower will be treated in a confidential, sensitive manner, and the report will only be disclosed to those who are authorised to carry out an investigation into matters relating to the report while the identity of the whistle-blower shall always be withheld in these circumstances
- Enable personnel to receive advice from an appropriate person on what to do if faced with a concern or situation which could involve corruption
- Implement a system that allows individuals to report anti-corruption cases anonymously, ensuring confidentiality and protecting the identities of whistleblowers to encourage more people to come forward without fear of retaliation
- Recognising the above mentioned values, the company provides an avenue for all its employees to disclose any improper conduct or criminal offence within its structure
